Depressing play stylePrerequisite: Perform string instruments 5 ranks, bard class level
Benefit You have studied a style of playing string instruments that is more depressing than normal. If you choose this trick, you can no longer use string instruments for any other bardic music besides fascinate, countersong and suggestion (but you can use another perform skill for the other bardic music). However, when you are successful at getting a target to sit down and listen to your fascination performance, you cause the target to suffer a -1 will saving throw penalty during your song and a duration after your song ends. The duration after your song ends is equal to half your amount of string instruments ranks.
